French Expression16  " n'avoir rien à voir "

" to have nothing to do with "
This is a very useful expression for daily conversation. Note the two negative markers " ne " and " rien " and the two verbs " avoir" and " voir " . You conjugate only the verb " avoir " while using this expression. Now go through the following sentences.

1.  Ne me demandez pas les renseignements sur ce projet. Je n'ai rien à voir avec cela.

Don't ask me particulars on this project. I have nothing to do with it.

2. Maintenant , elle n'a rien à voir avec Martin. Elle l'a déjà divorcé .

 Now shae has nothing to do with Martin. She divorced him already.

3.  Mon travail n'a rien à voir avec L'Inde . En fait , j'étudie l'histoire de la Chine.

My work has nothing to do with India. In fact , I am studying the history of Chine.
