BASIC FRENCH COURSE -FOURTH / FIFTH SESSIONS

The fourth and fifth session of the Basic French Course was conducted as planned on 2 /5. and 3/5 at the Indian Institute of World Culture, Bangalore. Of course there were some absentees. And disappointed I was to note that they missed the class. Be that as it may, the regulars were very enthusiastic as usual. I took up around fifteen basic verbs and explained their uses to them. The conjugation of the First group of French verbs was explained. The rule is very simple. They grasped it without any difficulty. While giving them examples of the use of verbs , gradually new words were introduced.  The partitive article was explained. The possessive adjectives were explained with many examples and students grasped them . While teaching, the learners were asked to repeat several times. Much emphasis was placed on correct pronunciation . In the fifth session, maximum time was devoted to asking questions in French. So far 18 exercises were prepared for them . I enjoy every minute of my work.
